These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Bilra (bilra.netlify.app) and the Bilra application. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Bilra is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application that scans invoices and receipts and uses AI to extract data (invoice number, company name, tax number, amounts), which can be exported to Excel, PDF, or CSV. Extraction accuracy depends on document quality; results should be reviewed before use.

2. Scan Credits & Payments

• Scan credits are a prepaid quantity of invoice scans, usable only within the Bilra application (1 credit = 1 invoice scan).
• Scan credits are not money and have no cash value. They are non-transferable and cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash. They are a software-usage entitlement, similar to API credits — not a wallet or stored-value instrument.
• Payments are processed in INR (domestic) and USD or other currencies (international) via our payment providers. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase.
• New users receive a small number of free scans to try the service.

3. Acceptable Use

• You may only scan documents you have the legal right to process.
• You must not misuse, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of your documents and extracted data. We process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Service Availability

The service is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India.
